All scripts must be submitted by the deadline. There will be NO on-site submission. Failure to submit scripts by the deadline will result in $20 late fee.
*If scripts are not submitted by the deadline, you will be dropped from that event.
Original Script Deadline: Friday, February 23rd, 11:59 EST
Corrected Script Deadline: Tuesday, February 27th, 11:59PM EST
If you receive a notification from the script review team saying you need to make a correction, you must have your script resubmitted by this date. Remember not to wait until the last minute in case additional corrections are needed.

WHO NEEDS TO SUBMIT?
Competitors who are entered in the following events must submit scripts for approval.
- Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
- Interpretive Speeches: Dramatic, Duo°, Humorous, Open°
- Wild Card Speech: Interp in a Box
°Duo and Open have their own separate Submission Form
HOW TO SUBMIT
1. NAME FILES CORRECTLY: EVENT - Last Name, First Name - Title
Examples:
"PERSUASIVE - Genius, Ima – Being Humble"
"DUO – Twiddle, Dee and Twiddle, Dum – Walrus and the Carpenter"
2. ONLY pdf and doc files accepted. Please compile into one file. Forms are found under Submission Forms on the Stoa website.
- Platforms: Form, Script, Citation Page
- Interps/IBox: Form, Typed Script, Source Script
3. Please send ONE script per email with the file name in the subject line and email scripts to scripts.vector@gmail.com
If your file is too large, use a pdf compressor such as www.smallpdf.com
4. After you have sent an email, you should receive an email confirming your submission has been submitted. Your scripts are in queue for review. Once reviewed, you will receive an email that your script is either approved or needs correction.
5. If your script needs corrections, make the necessary correction and resubmit using the link above, noting that this is a corrected script.
